Carbide-tipped saw chains are specifi cally developed for longer cutting edge life, resulting in less frequent sharpening. Carbide chain stays sharper 4 times longer then conventional steel chain. Ideal for cutting both soft and hardwood, works especially well on dirty or treated wood, burnt logs, roots and stumps. Inserts are extremely hard, and can only be sharpened with diamond wheels/stones
